Jarred Gray

Bio

Coach Gray joins the Cougar coaching staff after spending the past nine seasons coaching at the highest levels of college football. Most recently, he served as a Defensive Analyst and Senior Personnel Analyst at the University of Texas, where he worked with the Longhorn secondary, assisted in recruiting the nation's No. 1 recruiting class, and helped Texas reach the College Football Playoff and SEC Championship Game. Prior to Texas, Gray spent three seasons as a Defensive Analyst at Texas State, helping engineer one of the nation's most improved defenses and the program's first bowl championship, and four seasons at Ole Miss as a Defensive Graduate Assistant and Quality Control Coach after finishing his career playing for the rebels. A former Ole Miss football player, Gray earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Mississippi and was a Bill Walsh NFL Minority Coaching Fellow with the Atlanta Falcons.
