James graduated from Grace Community High School in Tyler, Texas in 2015, where he played football and ran track all four years. He then attended Texas A&M University graduating in 2020 with a degree in Mathematics. This is James’s 6th year on staff at The Colony High School. He married his wife Danielle in 2022.
