Ben Bibby

Bio

Coach Bibby is a 2013 graduate of The Colony High School, where he played center for the Cougars and excelled in track and field as a state finalist in the shot put and discus. Coach Bibby attended Stephen F. Austin State University, where he continued his athletic career with SFA football before transitioning full-time to SFA track and field. He concluded his collegiate athletic career as an all-conference performer in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw. During his time at SFA, Coach Bibby earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Sports Performance and Exercise Physiology. After graduation, he spent three years as a Division I Strength and Conditioning Coach with the SFA football strength and conditioning staff. During that time, he also earned his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification through the NSCA. The 2026 season marks his ninth year coaching, fifth year teaching, and fourth year at The Colony High School, where he is proud to continue serving and developing Cougar student-athletes both on and off the field. Coach Bibby is recently engaged to his beautiful fiancé, Ellie, and is excited to be getting married this May.
