Anthony King

Bio

Coach King is a proud TC alum. As a student-athlete King played 2 years at safety for Coach Rangel as his position coach, and in his senior year Coach Rangel was promoted to Head Football Coach. As a Cougar King participated in football, powerlifting and track all 4 years. He went on to play safety at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas for 2 years, before returning home to attend The University of North Texas. Coach King graduated from UNT in 2014 with a Bachelors of Art in English Literature. Anthony has been married to his lovely wife Ashley King for a little over 7 years. They have a 10 year old son, Carter King and 5 year old daughter Callie King . King spent 1 year at W.T White coaching Cornerbacks, 2 years at Prosper coaching Defensive Line, and 1 year at Little Elm coaching Outside Linebackers. He is going into his 11th year coaching. This will be his 7th year with The Colony, 6th year as the Defensive Coordinator, and 2nd year as Associate Head Coach.
